Our Story

In 2019, Becky Vogt-Lundeen married her husband Travis — and MMM was born.

Travis was deep in MCAT prep, and the two soon packed up and moved to Arizona for medical school. What started as one couple navigating the financial reality of a medical career quickly turned into a mission:

Why doesn't anyone teach doctors about money?

While Travis worked through medical school, Becky earned her CFP® (Certified Financial Planner), RICP® (Retirement Income Certified Professional), and EA (Enrolled Agent) designations — building expertise across financial planning, retirement strategy, and tax.

But what she kept seeing was a gap. Brilliant, hardworking people graduating with hundreds of thousands in debt and virtually no financial literacy to navigate what came next. No one was fixing it. So she decided to.

The Mission

Good financial decisions start with real education. Marriage Money Medicine exists to give medical students and physicians the financial literacy no medical school teaches — for free, without the sales pitch.

Speaking

Becky speaks at medical schools, residency programs, and conferences for medical professionals across the country — bringing honest, practical financial education directly to the people who need it most.
